I write all the time. Just not fan fic; that's not my forte. I stuck a chuck up in the fan fic forum. I know it's not fan fic, but...if it's not wanted, it's deleted easily enough.

I'll have to get to reading that as soon as I get some quiet time. :lol

And forget the fanfic; we like to read all sorts of things here. That's what it was meant for.

And I know that only the author can edit her posts but I don't believe they can delete it. As we are a no edit/delete board. There is enough censorship in the world already.

I generally don't have a problem with admins deleting posts if they talk to me first and explain their reasoning. Usually, it's justified. I can think of one time an admin deleted a post because the content of it would inadvertently be VERY upsetting to a good friend. But she gave me a heads up on it and explained the situation, so it was cool. And, in this case, if posting my stuff in the fan fic forum wasn't the right place, I'd have no problems with moving/deleting it. But, generally, admins who will come talk to you about deleting your posts are NOT the ones who are going to abuse their power.

Yeah. And I don't think anyone here is going to go "power crazy"... They may go crazy over other things but they are the best I've seen... (And no, I am so not sucking up! :rolleyes

Well ITA with you guys. Although, hitting our 1 year mark we have never (knocking on wood) had any flames, any fights, nothing has been edited or deleted and noone has ever been banned. It's not the Admins either, all we do is keep the posts in which sections they need to be in and keep images up and the board running without errors. It's all the members. Everyone knows the rules and are on a higher level than most since we all know how to disagree with someone without being mean. And that I believe is the key.

Zook...don't worry about posting your writing on here...It's called the "Writer's Realm" so anything you want to post is cool...Fanfic or not! Your just the first person that has posted something other than fanfic, and that is very cool! Plus, I moderate the writer's realm and I say it's okay that it's in there! :evil
