Hi! This is a great board!
I was wondering how people first found this board?

Also, what is the easiest way to get here? I think I have to go thru a lot of steps each time to reach here, and I wonder if there might be a faster way.

I like the music on the Roswell board (Dido), but is there a way to disconnect it or turn it off once you're on? The computer I'm using does not have easy access to a volume button, and I'm worried about disturbing others when I visit here.

I actually can't remeber...I was probably surfing through the net on Roswell-sites and just hit a link or something...and thankfully was teleported here!

Then I went into eternal lurker-mode before I decided that it was time to step out of the shadows... :grin

Surease! So sorry about the music.

Actually, we lost control of the backend of our site last night and I reloaded it this morning from a backup disk which set it to the "older" version we had (which was with the music) and I forgot to take it out. I'll work on getting rid of it tonight for you.

As far as an easier way to get here would be the domain.
foreverdreaming.org or just foreverdreaming.org

Surease - the easiest way to get here is foreverdreaming.org

As for your first question, I found the board when Bunnie was setting it up because we were both in a Roswell Yahoogroups mailing list and she mentioned it in a post there.

Yeah, actually I had posted on the mailing list a first time to see if anyone wanted to go in it with me, and I did get a few people willing to join but didn't really know anything about html and neither did I, so I was so glad that I decided to post it a second time because if I hadn't Laura would of never came on board because I think she never got the first email. So anyway, the good thing is if Laura didn't come on FD would of never happened since she pretty much designed most of the forums at the time and taught me alot about the backend of things. I remember those days when it was just pretty much her and I trying to figure everything out. :lol

So that's where it all began. :lol

Why, yes indeed I did. But you actually had designed every banner and graphic plus all the legal stuff for the entire board if I recall.

Cyane~ How funny. Yeah nobody realized the amount of time and effort it takes until you create it yourself or manage it along with others. When I first started I thought the same thing, "You've got to be kidding me".. but if you form a good team it can and is possible.

Which yes, brings in the next part of the equation. Sure Laura and I started this out but over the year so many others have joined us and have taken on huge parts of the boards themselves.(Including Cory and Diana and all of our Moderators) So much thanks go out to the entire Staff for the site it is today not just the two of us.
