Opie (Ryan Hurst)is a second-generation member of the Sons of Anarchy. His father is "Piney" (played by William Lucking), who was one of the "First Nine". In the first season we meet Opie as he has just been released from prison and confronts a man who fled when the cops came, a sin for which the club took his patch with ultimately gruesome consequences. Opie is best friends with Jax, another second-generation Son (his father was John Teller -- JT -- who founded the club along with Clay Morrow). Opie is absolutely loyal to the club. At times he is torn between Jax and Clay but increasingly lines up behind Jax. He is a father and personally gentle (see the scenes with him and his kids) but savage in a fight and ready, willing and able to do what has to be done for the sake of the club. He is a quiet, brooding man with an explosive temper hidden underneath a contemplative exterior, the kind of guy you want as a friend and definitely not as an enemy.

Um... not as much as Jax. :lol Don't get me wrong, I feel bad for Opie with Donna dying and all... but yeah, he's okay.

I guess my two favorites after Jax are a tie between his Mother and Tara. :dunno

Yeah, at first I didn't like her... but I quickly started enjoying her bad-ass character more and more. She is the glue that holds them all together. :lol

Oh and totally random here but I just watched Tara finally kick that stupid ugly Administrators ass and loved it! But more than that, OMG, I LMAO when it had them on the mushrooms and he was telling the stuffed squirrel how sorry he was... ROTFLMFAO :drink :lmao :rotf

I did love that episode it was hysterical. It was good seeing Tara finally show some balls for lack of better words just just acted so weak a lot of the time. So how far through are you now ?
