All New | tuesday | 9/8c trailer

After realizing the farm is in financial trouble, Martha (Annette O'Toole) goes to her estranged father (guest star George Coe) for help. Clark (Tom Welling) is thrilled at the prospect of meeting his grandfather but Jonathan's (John Schneider) refusal to see the man prompts Clark to force a reunion that doesn't go exactly as planned. Meanwhile, Lana (Kristin Kreuk) discovers an old photograph that suggests her father may still be alive.
Michael Rosenbaum, Sam Jones III and Allison Mack also star. Chris Long directed the episode written by Russel Friend & Garrett Lerner.

What?! We saw him get squished!

I'm thinking that maybe Laura Lang wasn't faithful and Lana isn't from her husband. That is the only explaination, besides her father having a twin, that I can think of.

I was surpised that he wasn't in speedos. He got out of the pool in trunks, which really isn't good for racing. Not that I am ever eager to see anyone in speedos - I think those things are really unattractive.

As for the main story, I have see that done so many times on so many shows that it's just a bit worn out.

The grandfather thing was interesting.

Yes, I was surprised to that they recut that scene. Who the heck races in trunks? :lol Normally I wouldn't care for them at all, but I wouldn't of minded seeing Clark in them. :grin :lol

Storyline "Freak of the week" I always hate. Stupid.

I liked the grandfather storyline, and Lana father storyline possibility, and Lex repeating his father storyline. Interesting in the least.

And I am extrememly confused about next week. How is Clarks real mother coming? And how is she going to be related to the Luthors? So they might be brothers? What?! :dunno I thought Lex's mother was dead. Confusing and far fetched here. :dunno

Watched Smallville again last night. I didn't like the story. That whole sucking the youth outta people kinda annoyed me cuz it was done in some other show before. I thought Smallville writers coulda been more original.
