Yeah, see, exactly my point - maybe she didn't have freedom of choice when Nasedo was around because let's face it, he raised her and so he figured she needed to follow his rules and his rules only. But, he died, and she suddenly had a choice - it's unfortunate that she chose the wrong one :(
