Anyway, for all you fellow Chemists, I read at Fan Forum that there is a rumour that Katie would get upset whenever Jason and Shiri had kissing scenes and that she called in sick so that she wouldn't have to see the scenes. I'm kind of hoping that is true, although again I know that's mean. You see, JB and SA are so believable as a couple that even Katie gets jealous seeing them.

Joie - There are cases though (I'm not talking specifically about Roswell here) when actors do get jealous although they should know how the industry works. think of, say, Michael Dougals and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Apparently there were nice scenes to watch on the set of her latest movie when he showed up and went all caveman on her.
Or think Jennifer Lopez and Puff Daddy when they were still dating.

I dunno, but I don't have too big of an opinion about her so I shouldn't say anything at all. But I guess that would probably be a lie, I mean, she's a big girl, she should be able to handle herself during scenes like that... I mean if she was totally sure about her relationship with jason she wouldn't have a reason to be jealous now would she

I honestly don't know the truth about the rumours, but it would be mean if someone had just made it up.

It would, very much, be an issue, if I saw my boyfriend kissing someone else, but he is not in an acting position and the kissing is voluntary~ not scripted. It would be a complete and utter miscomparison to equate the two.

Just a comment on JB and SA being very familiar backstage and making jokes about doing each other: When I've done theatre, some of the stuff that flies between myself and some of the guys, or between any of the women and the men, can get kind of risque, and there's nothing going on there. Heck, there's this one gay guy I'm friends with that has greeted me in a very...um...familiar *g* way before, and I always call him 'darling' when I'm greeting him. So you can't always judge the true state of a relationship by the actions of the people. Or they could have something going on. Anything's possible.
