I thought they were both equally good. though i do think the show could have used some of the quality that the books had.

I mean the show made them royalty and acted as if they're home world was just waiting for them to come back and save them from Kivar and they just seemed to toss that out after awhile like it really didn't matter

I like it in the books that they weren't royalty just aliens that crashed there. and took on Human form.no Hybrids or anything

Still loved the show though
