I got the CDs Cory burned for me today of Roswell, and I was so excited, and...now, I can't get them to work right! *sobs* Something about codecs that Windows Media player can't get, or it plays them as audio, or one only plays as video w/ no sound! :mad

Yay! Have fun watching Roswell, welcome to the insanity! bwhaha. I'm glad you got them to work! ^_^
Stupid DivX won't work on my computer, even though I downloaded the Mac version, have MacOS 8.6, and the newest Quicktime.. my friend Ray tried helping me, but alas, no luck.. :.(
oh well, enjoy the episodes!

The evils of players refusing to read CDs right continues...only 1 of 14 episodes has audio, and that was the second episode of S1. So far, I'm liking it. And I still think Max is hotter than Michael. *G* When I get this audio thing worked out, I'll be watching the rest.

Ah, okay, guess that answers my question from the Best Roswell Quote (now Candy v. Dreamer war) thread whether you had gotten them. I still don't understand how you can think Max is hotter than Michael, but we'll confine the discussion to the other thread, I guess.

How are you liking the show as a whole so far? (Don't say anything negative now, or we might have to hit you!

)

BTW: When I started downloading all the eppies from Kazaa, I had exactly the same problems with the player codecs. I was going insane, so I *know* how you feel! :lol

I downloaded another set of codecs. And I have put EVERYTHING onto CD-R, so I have all the codecs should I need them again.

The DivX thing you told me to download, and SLD Codepak 1.3, which is what made it work. I also installed msnaddn and mpsetupXP, but I don't know if they did any good.
