I was a devout watcher for the first 3 season, lost interest, and then started again last year - or was it the year before - the season Mulder got abducted. I saw a few eps last year and maybe 2 so far this year. Man, I used to be sooo in love with DD those first 3 years!

I didn't used to watch but my dad's a die hard fan so i've been watching it this season... and nope never seen alias... hummmm

DOGGETT
Damn.

Doggett is still surprised, but not exactly shocked.

DOGGETT
I seen a bunch of these when I was a cop. Favorite of some of the Pan-Asian gangs in New York.

REYES
The difference is, Victor Potts had a premonition of his death.

DOGGETT
And?

SCULLY
That was my question.

REYES
What I'm saying is this man was skinned alive just hours after describing it in exact detail.

DOGGETT
Maybe he could describe it cause maybe someone'd threatened him.

REYES
He said it came in a vision. Or in a dream, according to the woman who last spoke to him.

DOGGETT
Who was that?

REYES
She's a therapist who runs anger management groups for ex-cons.

Doggett nods, but he's basically unimpressed.

DOGGETT
Lifelong criminal's bound to have some bad enemies. People capable of this kinda thing. I mean, unless there's something else here I'm just not seeing.

He looks to Scully, looking for her opinion.

SCULLY
From what I could tell by visual exam, the skin was removed with considerable skill. By someone using a hunting-type knife. Major arteries and veins were left intact, prolonging the period the victim would suffer.

DOGGETT
Terrible way to die. For sure.

REYES
I know.

Both Scully and Doggett are looking at Monica, wondering if she is, maybe above all, troubled by this fact and this fact alone.

SCULLY
Is there anything else, Agent Reyes? Something special that brought this case to your attention as a possible X-file?

REYES
No.

She's looking at the body as she says this. Knowing she's got to come up with something good. Aware of what Doggett and Scully are thinking. And insinuating with that question. Looking up now.

REYES
It must sound crazy.

SCULLY
It does at two a.m.

REYES
I just know I need to solve this. I'd appreciate your help.

Off Doggett and Scully, wondering what they're missing.

I believe he is gone for good. Mulder *was* the X-Files so it's just silly that it's going on without him.

I don't usually watch it on FX but tonight I happened to see part of it. It was the flukeman episode. That one still give me the creeps.
