Brandon Paris is a POP/ROCK/SOUL artist from Vancouver British Columbia. His music is not the radio or TV as of yet, but a scheduled date for his music video shoot is set for the early months 2004 to be aired on Much Music and hopefulley MTV if all goes well! Brandon Paris is currently finishing up his debut Album titled "ON MY OWN" scheduled for release in early 2004. You can definetely be sure it will be availbale in many stores near you!
Brandon has made it very far on his own without a manager, agent or label backing him. He has done this through very hard work , dedication, and sacrifices. His abundant amount of drive and passion of course has helped him conquer many hardships, not to forget of course, the help of his fans(which he admires soo much) is also a major contribution to his success so far!
"I decided to get into music because i felt like i had soo much pain inside that needed to be let out...and music was the perfect way to do that. I also wanted to help others that were going through similar life experiences through my music. Once i decided to go into this full time i quite my full time job, sold everything i had and then for the next 5 years lived in poverty, this meant eating very little wearing the same cloths for along time and avoiding many bills which has contributed to my very bad credit. Do i think that was all worth it?...HELL YA!... if i had a chance to do it all over again..i would say yes! i have been stressed out at times..but i am a much more positive and happier guy because of all this!" ---Brandon says.
MORE THAN JUST THE MUSIC!...
Thats not all! Brandon has also made his promise to his fans and supporters that he will give a very large percentage of his CD sales profits to BATTERED WOMAN AND ABUSED CHILDREN shelters in which ever city the sales came from. his reason for doing this is from personal expericences. "i definetely believe that if i make money from this music business that i might as well do good with it. I totally belive that everyone is here for a reason weather it is to fight racisim or keep our planet from being polluted etc. i cant change the world but i can sure do my part! I know my reason for being here is to help other family's going through the same problem i did, being under control of someone that abuses and beats kids or woman is extremley sad especially for a child that has to go through it for 18 years of thier life or woman going through it during thier whole lives with thier husband. i always wanted to find a way out when i was young and now that im older i know i can do something about it. I cant take people out of thier homes and help them directly. but by giving what i can through my CD sales to these shelters, it will help provide more living spaces or at least couselers to help" Brandon says.
Brandon's music is real and straight from the heart. Everyone of his songs comes form personal experiences and therefore, yes..has all been written my Brandon Paris. You can definetely here the sincerity of his voice when listening to every song, and even though many of his songs are quite moody they still retain a good catchy rythm which you jsut can't seem to get out of your head for a while!

I know that i am no better than anyone else. i am truly doing this for the music and to help others. i would rather live in poverty and do music then do any other job making tons of money.
