Yes. A new (silly) thread from me. Seeing as we all are so excited (well at least Stalker and I are), I thought we could have a thread to countdown the days till our concerts. It's not only a countdown, you can post what you want about their concert in here. You can post a possible set list, you can post about the venue...anything you want. You can post about the songs you want them to play..anything  As long as it's Met-related, or a Met-concert-related Babble away   Countdown status today (12/20/03)

Well, I'll go first The concert is June 21st. It's going to be held in the Arena. That's a huge football stadion. It's the homebase of football club Ajax, and it's located in Amsterdam. South-East Amsterdam to be exact I think it has room for 55.000 places, but because this is a concert they only use certain parts to let the people sit. But I don't have a sitting ticket. Eh  Right...the show begins as 18.30 (6.30). Special guests are KoRn and Slipknot. Tickets went on sale tolday, and I had to get up really early. I went to bed way too late yesterday (I'm blaming you, Mrs. Hetfield   ) I don't mind though, I have the tickets and I had a nice conversation last night. So it's all good. Only *ahum* 184 days left! I'm already psyched

YEESSS! i ought the tickets about 5 minutes ago. 84 more days! hey pinkie, ur lucky u get to see korn. there one of my other favorite bands next to metallica and there are 500 times better than godsmak IMO.

Great  The tickets went on sale at 10 this morning, I was at the post-office around 9.30. There weare already about 10 people in front of me. But I've got them as well. I've posted my ticket in the Metal Gods #3 thread. Yeah KoRn...not really into them...but it's always cool to see a band live. As for Slipknot..well not really into them either. About Godsmack, they might not be as good as KoRn, but they give an amazing show. The double-drum kit thing is really spectacular! You only have 84 days left...I on the other had have 184 days left! 100 days more!  But it's definitely worth the wait. Have you ever seen them before?  I don't know if I already asked you this, but if I did, I forgot. Sorry

OH, so cool that your going to see them for the first time. I bet you are excited? Well, I was too..the first time I went to see them. But I'm still excited now You ordered them online? Cool. We can do that here as well, but you need to have a creditcard. I don't have that yet, so my only option is to get up really early on a Saturday morning. Ah well, it's worth it We're a day closer to the concerts than we were yesterday!

Holy Moly, Baker! You're one lucky person, you'll get to see the guys so much faster than we are! I mean, look at it, 83 days till yours, around 175 till ours!  Cool for you! Hope you get your tickets soon... BTW, Mrs. Hammett... I'm not gonna take the blame. It's your fault we stayed up watching Met videos "together". It was helluva lotta fun IMO though.  On a sidenote: I'd prefer having KoRn as special guests instead of Slipknot, but hey, I'm not complaining. Still kinda worried about the location: the stadium is HUGE, and if I get stuck somewhere in the back and see the guys as tiny little dots, I'm gonna . I swear.

I don't mind I liked it! Hell, I would have stayed up all night to see Kirk And I catched up on my sleep already (the next day I didn't get up untill 12.45 ) After all the work-out (Let's see if you can catch that one ) Quote: Quote:

Dude, you got those elbows for a reason! Use them! Or you need to get tot he stadium on time, that way you'll be sure to be in the front. The Garlic Plan?!?!  Sounds great..make sure that you scream a lot! I told my friend to only wear a boxershort to the concert, that way he would scare all the people away..and we would get a lot of space!  Ahh no...Well I did say that, but I was only joking. Good. you remembered! Well, how could we forget, really? I mean..that thread was gooood  Well you see..we did some *work-out* on Saturday, and I didn't wake up on Sunday untill 12.45. So I was already tired for being up late the night before and getting up early..but the work out only made it worse. Well..you can't call work-out worse..it's good..really good Ah, I know.. *gutter*

Yes! They played those songs here! A-ma-zing! The intro of Blackened is truly amazing. Hearing everyine scream: Fireeeeeeeee to begin whipping dance of the death...Blackened in the end!It's so great! Oh I also hope they play For Whom the bell tolls. They didn't play that one last time, although they did play it in June!
