Actually My Mother got me into Metallica. She was always blasting the music ariund the house and i took i liking to it so Thanks Ma For the like Long addiction  -GRYNCH-

Mr.Grynch, that is so cool! Thanks for telling us that! Oh dear, I wish my mom liked Metallica (she's warming up to Master of Puppets though ). That is really cool. Do you and your mom like talk about Met as well?  Spice; You started to like them because of B?!  That's cool!  As for me. Well I knew Nothing Else Matters of course, but back in 2000 I got transfered to another class. That really sucked because I knew almost no-one. So I was sitting alone, feeling all depressed when this guy came sitting next to me. Well, he was a crazy Metallica fan. So after a while he was like: 'You need to listen to some other songs of them', so I decided to give it a try. He lend me some of his stuff...and a new Metalli-head was born! Well the following 3 years I sat in the same class as him, and we were so excited that Met was gonna perform here. So we went to the concert...and to the next one...and we're going to the concert in June as well. Eh about the song that made me a fan. It's my favorite..Master of Puppets. That song really blew me away. I thought it was (and I still think it is) the greatest song in the world. I bought Master of Puppets (the album) and I played it for weeks. I'm amazed that it's still working! That's about it

OMG, Mr Grynch, your mother got you into Metallica?! How cool is that?! I wish my Mom was into Met... well, at least last time when we passed the posters for the concert in June she started screaming at the same time as me, and she admitted that the Call of Ktulu was kinda nice. Pinkie - OMG, I didn't know how you got into Met... I remember you said it was your friend, but I didn't know the circumstances. That's a really nice story. Very sweet of him. I'm with Spicy and Shobhna. It's B's fault, actually, not Michael's. I was in Portugal, and whilst zapping through TV channels, Icon was on. So I watched for about three minutes just to see what was so great about them. Then I realized James was wearing what he had been wearing on the pictures with B, and I started to scan the audience, while the two guys that were watching with me were paying attention to the performances and declaring me insane. I really got into Metallica because of the interviews on Icon, or more specifically, because of James on Icon. I really liked the way he was saying things, and I can't explain, it was more like he had a certain presence there that I found rather cool (God, this sound so cheesy). So I watched all of Icon, and at the end of it I was convinced that those were a couple of rather cool guys, contrary to what I had thought in my ignorance. So I borrowed MoP, Kill em All, S&M, and ReLoad from my neighbour, and that's how I got into Met.

here in vegas, oe of the local radio stations has somethign called the "Metallica Moment" i started to listen and my first reaction was 'this is some good, fast shit" then i haeard the solo and i was blown away. when i got home i downloaded a bunch of stuff from them and then strated buying there cds.

Baker;  That's cool that a radio station has a Metallica moment. They hardly play Met on the radio here  I also started by downloading some stuff of them, and lending some cd's. Quote: Quote:

Yes, it's for Mr.Grynch! It's his Birthday (the big 25! ). Thanks for the feedback though!  Stalker; Yes my friend is very nice! But I hardly see/speak him anymore!  It's just we have both very different schedules... it's a shame.. Ah well, at least we still go to the concerts together!

Hey Baker - We don't get Met on the radio here either. A few days ago they played Nothing Else Matters and I was already flipping out, but other than that - nope. Sad country. Pinkie - That's really sad. I have a few friends I don't see much because of schedule things either, and it sucks. Well, the concerts are better than nothing though, and at least he shares your Metallica obsession, right? Are you trying to annoy us, Spice?  Talk about unfair.  I want Met on the radio, too! And WTF is that thing in your sig?! Have you lost your MIND?! That's it, no more Michael. He's returning to ME:

No. I actually maintain that my obsession does not have to do with Brendan. He is just responsible for me being interested in sitting down and listening closely for once. Responsible for my obsession is James Hetfield cause he's just soooo amazing. And his voice makes me shiver.
