Not so much. You just go single file to this designated area and sit against the wall. Should the real tornado ever come, you have to put your head between your knees and your hands on your head to keep yourself protected. :lol

I always found it funny. If Mother Nature is pissed...there's nothing you can do to stop it! Sitting in the hall with your head between your knees is not going to help ya!

Yeah, but if a real tornado ever comes, having your head between your knees puts you in a postion where you can kiss your butt goodbye before the tornado rips the roof off and carries you away to Oz.

Not always. Pessimism is the constant practice of always seeing the downside of everything, and rarely (if ever) seeing the upside. I'm in the middle of a very hard situation right now, and it would be very easy to get all down about it. One of the many, many times I'm so glad to know God is in control. Hey, if He can keep me alive through a major car wreck, I think he can handle the payment for shrinks and medications.

Oh and Cory, I used to live in Texas and we used to have to those damn tornado drills too. It was so embarrassing. We actually did have to put our heads between our legs and then a few years later they changed it to (or maybe it was hurricanes were a different procedure) bending over on our knees with our heads against the wall and our hands over our heads. :lol

Am I okay? *laughs* Sorry, not you. Just...the whole situation. In a nutshell, right after I finished the spring semester of college, I headed to my parent's house for a week to visit and do whatever. On the 23rd of May, I went out with a friend of mine so he could show off his mom's Grande Am. All was well for a few hours, and then the next thing I remember is waking up in ICU. He was likely speeding, and couldn't keep the car on a curve, and we hit some trees sideways. I got a closed head injury and a broken right pelvis, and while I'm physically fine, the accident likely exasterbated my ADD. ack...so now that I'm FINALLY diagnosed (after 23.5 years of wondering why I was such a freak...), I'm getting the treatment I need, but that costs $$$, and I don't have it, and...it's just a mess.
