I know. I think she's had one too many Starbucks drinks... But, Cory! Cheer up! 'Cause you're beautiful!

Okay, so, here's something that cheered me up and I hope will make the rest of y'all smile My ex-girlfriend hasn't eaten in a few days (wait, I'm getting to the good part) and she's down to 90lbs... I called taco bell to try and buy her some food, and the manager literally gets on the phone and says to me, "what's her name? just have her come in and ask for David, we'll buy her lunch " OMG... faith in humanity restored for another day...

Quote: I think she's had one too many Starbucks drinks Contrary to popular belief... I only have one *maybe* twice a week now. No, I'm serious! I *really* tried breaking some of my addictions this year. Some successfully, some not as much. And humanity is all around you Jen-- you just have to look and you'll see it everywhere!

I see it in people I care about, my dear... the human race is so corrupt but there are these rare people... like you... who are full of so much light and love that I think maybe not all is lost

This made me cry the other day when someone posted it on FB:
My daughter turned 5 years old 4/15 2013. She wanted to make people smile. We bought 18 long stem Roses at Safeway. Grace Randomly handed out these roses to who "she" felt could use a smile. The response was more profound than even I expected. 7 people's day changed from horrible days to great ones 11 took pictures with her, 3 cried and came back for hugs, and told her how much it meant to them. One I swear held my daughter for 10 minutes sobbing (she was missing her children that day). One woman (at the coinstar) gave her a HUGE gummy toothless smile and told her she now has faith in our children of today. I gave her $10. She stated "I can now buy meat for dinner to feed my family". I am so proud of her selflessness on her 5th birthday. We need to do this more often. Pay it forward, teach your children!

That is absolutely amazing, Cory, thank you for posting it! Stories like that make my day. I always try to give to someone each and every single day, even if it's the smallest of things. The other day, two kids were counting out pennies at 711 so they could buy three mini donuts to share... so I told them to get three more, so they could each have their own, and to keep their pennies, and I paid for them

Quote: who are full of so much light and love that I think maybe not all is lost You know... when you see that in someone else- you're really just seeing the reflection of yourself in them. Last week I was at the gas station and saw some lady with a red can trying to ask this guy if he would give her some gas (as she was broken down) and he didn't help. I watched as she walked back to the side of the road and after I filled up, I drove over and told her I would fill it up. I guess it just made me sad to see how anyone couldn't spare like what are those things, 5 gallons of gas? I mean comeon people... really?

You rock, Bunnie!
When we were in NC this weekend, Hannah had picked a little flower and a while later we were walking down the sidewalk and she stopped and gave it to a lady and told her that it was for her. The lady smiled so big and told Hannah "thank you very much." Little kids rule!

Good job. I pulled a Jen last week... I went around a corner at the store, and knocked a bottle of sparkling cider off the shelf and it busted everywhere
