I need to new life!
I'm really about to pull out all my hair and scream for the earth to open up and swallow me whole! Freakin' hell, I don't even think there is a little icon thingy to express how nervous/ worried/anxious/screwed I am right now... But you know, he'll have to do... Cause oh I love him... :silly :silly :silly
Anyway, Cory, hugs are great at a time like this... :( Thank you!

Who is the 'he' to which you refer? I have my suspicions, but enlighten me so I'm on the right wavelength.

No, not thinking of Nick. That guy is history. No, I was thinking of one of my guy friends, with whom I have an interesting (for lack of a better word) relationship. As in we discuss the writing of NC-17 stories, what we want out of marriage and our partners (not in graphic terms), and I've been known to say, straight out, "Joe, you're acting like you want to be more than friends. Am I seeing things, or what?" And he's like, "You're seeing things." And it's all good. We go on talking like I was asking him if he wanted to go catch a movie or something. And when I was crushing on him, and I told him that straight up, he told me plainly that he found me interesting and attractive, but he'd chosen not to let things go beyond friendship because he didn't think I was ready for a serious relationship. Upon further reflection (and finding out something strange about him), I decided he was right: dating was a bad idea. He continues to vex and perplex me, but not in a way that stresses me out like Nick did. Nick is another story entirely...*sighs and rolls eyes* If you want to hear the story, I'll tell you over email.

His name's not really Nick. To protect the guilty, I changed the name.

Zook...it's a male thing. No matter who they are in your life, men always find was to vex and perplex women. Some more so than others, but it never fails. To be fair, I think men feel the same way about women. We don't honestly know what they're thinking and vice versa.
