I would say my wedding ring, but seeing as that is already outside in the bushes somewhere , I guess I'll go with my photographs.

Wow, that's a tough one..
I think I would grab all my photos, or all my CDs, or my anime collection..

Well, let's see... that was the "weekend of hell" a little over a year ago. On a Friday I was a complete idiot and downloaded some virus attachment from who I thought was odd (it was an email from my husband) so I thought it was from work or something, but it was one of those viruses that get into your address book , as he didn't send me anything. Before I knew it, my computer screen lite up in a million beautiful colors and then it said, Your Fucked. Yep, indeed we were. 800 dollars to buy a whole new system. Which would be why I'm not really allowed to be downloading anything from anyone I even know unless I call and ask first. (I try to go by these rules, but .. thats all I say).

Moving on, the very next day.. Saturday night.. I was sitting outside on the porch with my sister (mind you we live on the 2nd floor) and we were just talking. Anyway, my hand was itching , so I took my wedding ring off for a second to scratch my fingers and when I went to put it back on, yep, I dropped it. It rolled right through the crack of the wood and into the bushes below. Mind you we searched for hours with flashlights. We searched the next day. We had the company cut down all the bushes. We rented a metal detector for a week. Nothing. I still say it's down there. Ugh. Yes, the weekend from hell.

Bunnie, I have to say it. I'm so sorry about your "weekend from hell" but I was just sitting here laughing my ass off. That was so funny! And so sad that it was true!
And oh yeah, the question thing... Well, stupid maybe but I would totally go for CD player and my CDs.
Music is like my saving grace. And I would think that I could pop in one of my sappy CDs and cry as I watched flames claim my house as it's own.

I totally hear you on that. The crappest part is always the after effects of mistakes. And you really never found it? That's bad. Sorry...

And yeah, I think I would really take my CD player. I mean, think of all the songs I could listen to as I watched everything important to me burn up and die?

Dude, we had one of those last week! They suck! And I always get a headache afterwards cause of the loud and freakin' stupid bell thing that rings and rings and rings...

OMG. How funny! And you would be utterly amazed at how many freakin idiots need the drills because they haven't a clue... than again, those are the ones that will STILL not have a clue even after they have the practice of a drill. AGH. The humour of it all. Also, they always teach you to remain calm and walk slowly out in files of lines and it seems to take like 30 minutes just to get out of the building.. the thing is if there ever was a fire; how much you want bet not a damn soul will listen to procedure and will not walk out calmly but run out at lightening speed trampling everyone else in the process?

The best is tornado drills...being from Minnesota we'd have tornados...anyone else have those? You have to sit in a hallway with no windows and stuff and it is soooo boring. I'm glad I don't have to do those anymore!
