What do you think is the most disastrous fashion item ever?

Come on people...post something!

Should I go first?

I don't like the whole 'tuck-your-pants-inside-your-boots' thing!

I also don't like those timberland-style Manolo's! :shake

So overdone!

Oh yeah I know those! They are awful! I can't understand how anyone like those!

I have a friend and she used to dress up very strang IMO.
She wore like a skirt and a shirt with football socks and heels!
That is not my style at all..!

Sneakers with high heels? I don't think I've ever seen those. :dunno

I hate those new shoes that are getting really popular that look like bowling shoes. Have you guys seen them? I think they're awful.

No, we don't have those bowling-type shoes here (yet).
Maybe in a couple of months? We are a bit behind with fashion I think...,not that I care, because I don't follow the latest trends

Yeah Jenny, I've seen those shoes! omg, I can't stand them!

LittlePink~ Believe me, once you see them, you'll wish you hadn't :lol

ummmm, for me the disaster award would have to go to...

the zip up skirt
(got someone mad at you or a perv nearby and it just takes one zip for it to come off!)
I can't find a pic of one for some reason right now, but when I was shopping the other day, there were a few. They were cute, but way to dangerous. :lol

I know the zip-up skirt! Finally something I know!

And I also don't like them!

I also don't like these shoes. They are from the hardcore line from Dior. But I find them so hideous!
And they are expensive too!

$ 475

Yeah, sometimes high-designer stuff is sooo ugly!

And those things are expensive too!

And you know, I lurk on a fashion board sometimes, and some girls are really mental.

They like...buy a bag (for school use) that is like $ 400.
I think that's just freaking ridiculous!

Yeah! :crazy I know!

They don't even care if it's practical or not, it should be fashionable! :crazy

Well, I've got a regular eastpak bag, and I'm happy with it!

Wow 10 years?!?!?

I last summer :grin

I still have my bags too! :)
It's not too long ago!

I usually use my backpack when I travel, or go visit someone.
I hardly carry books in it anymore :)

Now I like the colors of this dress, but it's too tight and see through.

I hate it when stars wear the see-thru shirts/dresses. Now really...do we need to see what you've got in order to make it through our day? I don't think so. I personally think it's really tacky. IMO.

I think fashion disators can be a good lesson sometimes, and it should teach people that fashion isn't always going to look good :) I am a firm believer in invidual style, and although I relish looking at the latest fashions, if it isn't going to look good, I certainly am not going to buy it just for the sake of it.
