The CW has changed the return dates of The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural, as well as the series premieres of The Originals and Reign.

The Vampire Diaries' season five premiere is at 8pm on October 3rd, now starting a week earlier than first announced. Vampire Diaries spinoff The Originals will now air from Thursday, October 3 at 9pm ET.
