I'll be the lone dissenter in saying that after mulling the scene over for a bit, I was decidedly non-plussed. Syd and Vaughn did something so *incredibly* stupid by going out to dinner like that, and then planning on cementing? People, brains OUT of your groin and back into your head! Thank you! And what is up with Syd being angry about Alice at the start of the show, indicating that Vaughn is still 'with' Alice, and then he's going to shag Syd? Please! You want to go to a room with me? Tell me you broke it off with Alice, or you'll be alone tonight. Yes, they're attracted to each other, and I'd love to see them go out on a date, but they've been cautious for so very long, WHY pitch all that to the wind now when Syd has said that it's a dangerous time? Now is NOT the time to be out with a CIA guy.
