Last I heard they still couldn't get Lena to come back...but they did get Isabella Rossellini to play one of her sister's...and by the looks of things, she looks like she may be a little more ruthless than Irina.
There are rumors that Lena Olin may be back for the season finale or sometime early next season. This year contract negotiations broke down. Basically she wanted more money and they (ABC) wasn't willing to give it. ~Kilverstone
I miss Syd's mother. She was great and i loved the relationship of the Bristow family all being in the CIA. One of my favorite scenes is the one where all three of them have machine guns and they are just shooting the people and that great song is in the background.
