ok, so i've looked around and read about aimlessly...trying to understand what you guys think about DC and its finale ep. and many of you have either said that DJ are not over..aor that PJ aren't really together!...now to face facts..i watched the last ep. with all fingers crossed for a pacey-joey coupling! so when you read this your going to see a bias that i have for the two. But the truth is so plainly there that no matter what i think it comes back to what happened and how things ended. AND IT ENDED WITH THEM TOGETHER!

now i can see why it may be confussing...with that high fever that some of you must have that is forcing you to believe in the unbelievable ...but you DJers must at least recoginze that in some way Dawson was the reason the ending went the way it did...and why in the end i can't hate him as much as i usually would. I read one post that praised the scene with dawson and joey cementing their 'LOVE' for one another and how it was meant to keep DJ fans happy while the ending was meant to keep PJ fans equally happy! who's fooling who? The ep is very similar to that of season 3's ending TRUE LOVE! except Dawson got wind of what life is really about...thats what the jen coming out of the taxi cab memory was fore...to show that in the begining it wasn't joey..and in the end it doesn't have to be her either. Dawson is for Dawson...he is there for himself to find his own path...uuuh humm..which was emphazied with that horrible done up ending with ...'SPEILBERG? (sp?) ...anyways.. this is all done away from joey...joey doesn't complete him she just is APART OF HIM...and in his speach..which i thought was well said...in some unearthly way it is D&J..so there you go DJ fans you have your victory... I can't dispute how angry it makes me that joey never gave dawson the good heev--hoo...and if they are truelly soulmates then they deserve each other cuz i have never seen to people so hell bent on being in each others lives...regardless of the pain and destruction the two cause in each others lives. But Dawson did say that he didn't care who ended up with who?...translation...JOEY CAN BE WITH WHOM EVER SHE WANTED! which when you see the ending ..sorta clears up the mess of who she choose! it seemed pretty clear... ...pacey took the place of dawson as her love..excuse me...TURE LOVE...for which dawson was never claimed as being...just a soulmate! which as many people have said can mean just a friend!...i even think the whole JEN AND JACK being soul mates had a double meaing to open the eyes of DJ fans ..suggesting what i've said in the above.

NOW if it hadn't been a PJ coupling i would have really been pissed...ohhh the madness would be everlasting cuz i too watched this show in its entirity...i was 11 and now at 17 i can't seem to understand where the years went?... so to end this neatly... joey told jen she always knew who she was meant to be with and she told pacey she loved him ...and that dawson ...well she loved him too..very much like a CHILD LIKE LOVE that is innocent and pure. ...welll i just don't people saying that joey didn't make a choice...she in the end ...like always gets to have both boys..its just that these two boys have taken a likeing to their respective places in her life...WHEN DID THIS SHOW BECOME ALL ABOUT JOEY ...i think i liked it better with DAWSON...and i can't stand him!..that says alot!...sorry for getting off topic..anyways..respective places..yadayadayada.. pacey = true love...dawson= best friend/soulmate if you will. i just want to say that for six years i loved this show...and that for the last 2 years it lost meaning and my attention in al honesty...but they or rather KW did it right...and when the series finale comes out with the uncut version of all 3 hours...we all will find the truth...but for now i have this one!

I don't think that they will ever air it. They are figuring they can make a buck off of it. So they are going to realease a DVD version of it.

I do however have to agree with you that it turned into "Joey's River" with time instead of it being "Dawson's Creek".
